Search rules
1. Search for keywordsThis is the normal way how to use a search engine. Just enter one or more keywords and the search engine finds any content which contains at least one of your keywords.
2. Using wildcards
Normally, search results deliver the exact keyword(s). But if your keyword represents only parts of the search term you can use wildcards (*) before or after the keyword. For example: enter ‘Product*’ to find the word ‘Production’.
3. Search for expressions or phrases
If your search term consists of two or more words you should quote your words both together to avoid a search for single words.
4. Enforce specific keywords in phrases
If a search result should contain always a specific keyword while running a multi-keyword search you can tell the search engine by setting a plus sign (+) before the respective keyword.
5. Exclude keywords
Do you want to exclude certain keywords just set a minus sign (-) before the respective keyword.
